" Poland's Kaczynski Wins Presidential Election, Exit Polls Show Oct. 23 (Bloomberg) -- Warsaw Mayor Lech Kaczynski, the candidate of the Law & Justice party, unexpectedly won the Polish presidential election, exit polls showed, the second time in a month that the group has beaten rival Citizens' Platform. Kaczynski won 52.8 percent of the vote, with Citizens' Platform Chairman Donald Tusk, who led voter polls since August, garnering 47.2 percent, according to an exit poll by TNS OBOP for public television. The State Election Committee plans to release a final tally early tomorrow afternoon. Kaczynski's win is expected to further strengthen Law & Justice's position in coalition talks with Citizens' Platform. The two top vote-getters in September parliamentary elections have sparred over economic policy. They plan to form a joint cabinet by end-October. Kaczynski's twin, Jaroslaw, chairs Law & Justice.
